In 2019 Tranent Children's Gala Launched it's online registration alongside a registration night. This meant that more parents had the opportunity to put their child in to be drawn to be in the Gala Court.
A Child can be registered if they reside in Tranent and are a Girl in Primary 1, 3 or 7 or if they are a Boy in Primary 3 or 7.
Once registration is closed names are drawn at random in correct age groups to select a court of 30 children for the following years Gala. The Draw is normally held in December at the Gala Winter Wonderland Event.
